Leicester South Foodbank is raising funds for a new electric van to help collect, transport and distribute food and essential supplies across the local community.
To support the appeal, Leicester Society of Artists has launched its first Art on a Postcard exhibition, with members creating and donating small original artworks (up to A5 size) to be sold anonymously for £25 each. Supporters can buy affordable, one-of-a-kind artwork, with the artist's name being revealed only after purchase, allowing them to choose the pieces they connect with most.
Every penny of every sale goes directly to the electric van fund, which has a fundraising target of £45,000, helping Leicester South Foodbank continue reaching people in crisis with dignity, care and reliable support.
